There are only two types of twins fraternal/non identical or identical but they can present in a few different ways. It's a bit hard to explain but this picture kind of represents what I mean. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1439531787.221219.jpg

I don't want to overwhelm you..
I'm sure your doctor will explain all of this to you at your next appointment

Their was confusion at my scan as to how the sacks were for my babies. ( That is such a buzz to say!) Sorry if my question makes no sense i'm still shaking from the scan haha

Congratulations!! What exciting news for you!

I wrote and stickies this thread years ago in the parents of multis section of bh http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...d.php?t=342002

It may answer a few of your questions for you! Also, there is a good chat thread in that section of mums to be currently pregnant with multis or new mums of multis. Why look anywhere else when you have a wealth of knowledge right here at bh?

Congratulations Unicorns! I had a feeling you were having twins after your OP. Sounded exactly like my first scan with my twins 😊 Such a blessing. Wishing you a smooth and uneventful pregnancy with two gorgeous healthy rainbow babies xx
