Default Best at home hair dye

Can anyone recommend the best hair dye to dye your own hair at home? I normally have a half head of foils (blonde and caramel, my hair is naturally a chestnut sort of colour) but I've discovered my first few grey hairs and am thinking I need an all over dye!! I also figure if it's an all over dye maybe I could save myself the $185 every 6-8weeks and do it myself but am nervous of the results. Any recomndations? Hints on how to do it or pick a good colour? Thanks

John Frieda foam. I too used to spend $$$ on foils and now I just smoosh foam all over my head once a month.

Having said that foils are actually good for breaking up grey.

My gey hairs seem to be right in a foil gap on my part line if that makes sense and look awful (well to me lol) so I'm thinking the whole lot would be better covered

Your probs best using any loreal brand home colour as Apparantly they are basically discontinued colours from the professional range which have been turned into home colours....I'm a hairdresser and if any of my clients have to do a home dye I always recommend this 😊
