Default Sahm ftb and parenting payment partnered

Obviously will call centerlink but can someone please clarify something.
Can my husband get parenting payment partnered if I'm getting ftb a and b?
What's the assets for property? Is it based on property value or difference between value and mortgage?

Yes he can get parenting payment partnered even if you are getting the ftb. Your principal home is not considered an asset, an asset is anything else you own eg. Car, caravan. If you have a investment property this will count especially if it is rented out. Hope that helps

In saying that you need to meet the income test so both of your incomes combined needs to be below the threshold.

If I don't work for the financial year then we will meet income limits ( correct me if I'm wrong but ftb isn't "income" as such?

If you are not working then yes possible your husband would be eligible depending on how much he earns if he is working? You may be entitled to Newstart which is a looking for work payment On top of your ftb. Ftb is considered income when you do your estimate so u need to take that into consideration along with parenting payment. But not income when assessing parenting payment eligibility if that makes sense - income is eg. Wages, rental income,

I will be on unpaid maternity leave. Work will hold my role for 2 years, so I will potentially be able to do a full financial year with no income. I'll have to look into it more I think
