I've looked on their website and it's definitely two weeks so that's all I will be giving..

We paid two weeks rent in advance when we moved in, but I can't remember if we started paying rent that day or waited two weeks to start paying...

I emailed and asked, but she doesn't know as they changed real estate agents half way through us living here..

How can I find out if I do or don't have to pay for the last two weeks?

Ask them for your tenant ledger, it will show your paid too date so you can work out what you owe

    Its definitely two weeks.
We are in this process right now in qld.
We served an intent to leave notice to our landlords yesterday.
We confirmed prior there was no agreement in place.
We also sent in our own return of refund rental bond form too.

Another question ... For the nras eligibility, my partner earns just under the $66000 that is the requirement for two adults...

I have a tax free scholarship from the university, do I include this in our income? It's not included if I was applying for anything for Centrelink

Are we eligible, I'm very confused

This happened to us in Vic (we knew it would though as they sold the house). They gave us 3 months notice (legally they had to give 60 days) so as soon as we got the notice we gave our 28 days notice (as required in Vic) and got out of there!

Is there a QLD tenancy advice service you can call to confirm?

Info I found is in here:
    https://www.rta.qld.gov.au/Resources...ct-sheets.aspx

First check out the continuing a tenancy fact sheet. From what you've said, if a fixed term tenancy ended and nothing has been done, it becomes periodic.

So working from that idea, go on to the "ending a tenancy agreement" fact sheet and it would appear that if you are in a periodic lease you only need to give 2 weeks notice.

Make sure that you add any postage time to the 2 weeks notice to make sure your notice meets requirements.

But always best to seek tenants Union or advocate advice

They have us moving out two days into a rent cycle, (its weekly), do I have to pay a full weeks rent? Or do you only pay for the days you occupy the house? So if it was two days, my last payment is only for those two days?

You only pay for those 2 days, they should send you an exact amount owing - email and ask them to send you a rent invoice up until your vacate day
