Default What is the quirkiest peice of art/furniture that you own

I went to a friends today, and she had the most gorgeous clock I have ever seen.

I was glass and just sensational.

It made me think, I dont really have that extra-special conversation piece. (well I have a gorgeous painting that I bought in Italy .. but its not really the same.... hard to explain)

anyway - what is your favourite art/photo/piece of furniture?

Ooh can a toy count? This busy board is totally the centrepiece and talking point of our lounge room at the moment. (We're too babyproofed to have actual nice things)

I love quirky things. Following and also trying to think if I have anything quirky in my home.

I don't know if it counts as quirky but it's my favourite piece.
This has traveled up and down the country with us and it's the only bit of familiar we have when we move in to so many rentals.
I bought it from a second hand furniture store for $150 around 4 years ago.
I keep adding to it but I've recently done a cull so it looks neat (ish)
It needs a little touch up here and there where the paint is worn but I love how sunny and bright it is, a relief in some of the dreary rentals we've occupied
