Can anyone help me with car seat installation pls

In a Subaru Forester 2010 model

It's my dad's car and we are going to visit, I'm taking a booster and a mothers choice car seat, but he's taken photos and I can't see the anchor points?

He tried to describe what he saw but it doesn't sound the same as the anchor points in my xtrail?

    Can anyone help pls?

Ok I'll ask my dad to check, he said he did, but he's never installed it even thought about installing car seats before so he doesn't really know what he's looking for.

If you have time would you mind posting a photo of your anchor points pls? It might help him find his if I send him the photo?

Sometimes they are hidden under a little cap, so they will look like a round thing in the roof. You then take off the cap and screw in the actual anchor. So make sure you take the anchors to screw in

They're points for an isofix seat. A normal anchor point should be on the back parcel shelf or on the back if the seat. I had an older Forester however and the anchor points were on the roof.

Mmmm does that mean that my normal car seat can't be installed?

Yep, the roof. The roof in the boot space.

Normal seats are fine, it's just an added bonus for a different type of seat.

I'm feeding bub at the moment but will take a pic when I can. It's no different to installing the ones that go over the seat back - you could possibly need an extension strap though, I'll post a pic of that too.
