    Default Abdominal pain

It was a long time ago that I had appendicitis, but I do recall it starting quite manageable and ramping up gradually to unbearable. Best of luck OP - hope it's an easy fix for you and that you don't have to hang out at the hospital for too long.

I'm just waiting for Dp to get home and then we are heading to the hospital.

I really hope it's nothing and I can just go home. Last thing I want is to sit and wait at the hospital. I may have to let Dp leave with ds because he's going to hate it..
Initially for me it wasn't and I've heard a few people who've had the same experience.

Hope you managed to see a doctor Hasselhoff, and it was nothing serious.

I forgot to reply. Ended up getting in to see a doctor, the pain had eased off a bit. Still sore but ok. Had a blood test - she said it may have something to do with gall stones but not sure. I've got a referral for an ultrasound if the pain gets worse. But for now I wait it out, panadol and heat pack and rest.

Thank you all for your replies 😀

This doctor has confused me. Wish I was seeing my normal gp.

having the ultrasound tomorrow morning. The pain hasn't increased but the doctor said results on blood test showed inflammation? How the heck does a blood test show that?! So she said to have the ultrasound just to check my gallbladder.

Inflammation would show up as white blood cells being elevated (I think - high school biology teacher, not medical person lol)

That would make sense. I never paid attention in school haha. She was going on and on but quickly and quietly about what was elevated and then what was low.
    So very confused.

I am feeling better. Still hurts but I'm just trying to keep going.
The guy who did the ultrasound said it all seems ok. He wasn't very forthcoming with information though lol I rang to see if the doctor had looked at the ultrasound but apparently they haven't got any results yet. So I have to ring tomorrow to see. I'm hoping if there's anything there I can get copies of everything and take them to my normal gp to talk it through but I'd say it will pass.

And thank you very much for asking ☺️

Thanks 😀 I'm sorry you have had them, I've heard it's quite painful. He did have a close look for gallstones and didn't say he could see anything - I had a look when I could see the screen and it all looked clear in the patch that I'd assume was my gallbladder lol I want an answer but don't if you know what I mean? I'd rather nothing show up but then I have no idea why there was so much pain?
