Default Super king bed - anyone got one?

Who has a superking bed? Where did you buy it and how much was it?

Anyone know where I can buy the base online or elsewhere where it won't cost as much as the mattress?

I found a UK site where they are so cheap!! But can't find the equivalent in Aus

I briefly considered it, but decided against it. It would be a pain (and even more expensive) to get nice bed linen and if we moved house, there's no guarantee a super king would fit nicely in most master bedrooms. Some master bedrooms don't even fit a normal king!

the linen would be killer. I've just got to a point where I've got a few nice queen sized sets. would be a bit off putting to have to find nice king sized sets plus they're more $$$

I was talking to a lady working in a Manchester shop last week and she said it is so difficult for her to order super King linen and it's off the shelves within days of her ordering it.

I use super king linen on my king size, as it hangs nicer over the sides, there are quite a few brands that make super king, but of course are a little pricier.

I don't really see the point in a super long unless you are planning on co sleeping with lots of kids, I find our king size huge and have to find hubby during the night he's so far away!

Default Super king bed - anyone got one?

Subbing. We are considering a super king. Our kids are 6 and 3 yrs old at the moment and although they go to sleep at the start of the night in their beds, they migrate to my bed during the night. I'm in no rush to stop this as we have a king at the moment and we're not squished but we have #3 due in feb. I'm planning to sidecar the cot to start with but most likely we will end up with all 3 in our bed.

We decided against it when we bought our new bed. We did buy a super king quilt though $600!!! As it hangs over the sides etc..

Jump on adairs and look at there linen for price guide I only buy sheets discounted (harbour town etc or ask for bday presents!) as they are so expensive $200 a pop full price.

    And yes Harvey Norman

We have a super king. Bought it in the USA, good mattress and base (with storage) was 6k. I bought good linen and quilt there for around $500 and it's still really nice after two years, I'll probably buy more linen on our next trip to the USA. I love our bed. Love, love, love it! DH has a really demanding job and so good sleep is essential!
