Default Anyone done a pre-employment functional assessment?

If you have done one of these what did it involve? I have 1 in 2 weeks for a retail position I've applied for. My bmi is in the obese range but physically I am healthy, normal blood pressure, do over 10000 steps a day, no back issues. Just worried I will fail due to bmi....

They shouldn't take BMI into account anymore, my GP never looks at my BMI because of my heritage i am destined to have big boobs etc, even when i loose weight i'm in the overweight category.

I've done full employment medical's for last 2 jobs and i was obese but healthy, and passed ok.

one of my techs at current job though, failed due to his weight, and general unhealthyness.

    Goodluck! you will do great

I've done one to work as an industrial chemist though.
I had a general blood test (full blood count), eye test, hearing test and a meeting with an employment "nurse" where she checked my flexibility, blood pressure, and drug test but didn't weigh me or anything. I'm pretty sure they can't take your weight into account if you are otherwise healthy.

I have to book myself in as soon as possible for a pre-employment medical for a Housekeeping / Cleaning position I've applied for. I don't think I've ever had one before, so I'm hoping I go okay.

Yeah I have done it many times for aged care. I'm morbidly obese and always pass 😁
