    Default Wwyd?

You have a guy that you pay to come and mow the lawn. This arrangement works well. Today he comes to mow and talks very pointedly and earnestly to your husband about the dangers of Is!am and that he believes that we should all support rec!aim Australia.

We do not share his beliefs and had he not drawn or attention to his beliefs, we would happily carry on paying him to mow.
Do we ditch him to make a point? Or just resume business as usual?

Just resume, business as usual. He's entitled to his opinion.

If it becomes a regular thing then I'd reconsider. Maybe he got the hint that your husband isn't racist like him and he won't mention it again?

If he mentioned it again, I would look for another gardener. People are entitled to opinions, but it doesn't mean I want to hear what they are.

    Very unprofessional.

    Very unprofessional.
And apparently he is talking to all of his clients about it, presumably to garner support for his cause.

Whatever your options are, completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
    He is his own boss.

    Just so bizarre.
