I've no idea what I weigh at the moment. AF is currently visiting, so I'm not game to get on the scales until after she's disappeared. I'm thinking I might do myself a 12 week challenge - getting ready for summer - see if I can lose just enough to not look like a beached whale in a swimsuit.

Just came across this little saying while doing some reading about starting and staying on a diet.... "A year from now, you will wish you started today ". 😄

I think for me the thing to remember is incremental change is OK. It's a step in the right direction. For me at the moment with an almost 1yo, I can't exercise the way I used to - boot camp, boxing, etc - as my fitness is cactus after a very lazy pregnancy and six months of gentle stuff (read: not much) after a c-section. And I just don't have the time for those long sessions. But instead I can be better with what I eat and just make a pact with myself to move more rather than using the car. I love to walk; I'm just not sure how the habit dropped away.

I'm reading a book about forming habits at the moment, so these insights are coming from that.

It's week 4 weigh in time for me and I've lost 800grams which brings total weight loss to 4.4kgs! So happy about that and thank you @Marigold for starting this thread because it's been great to be accountable.

I would like to lose another 5kgs and go from there. My problem area is my tummy and I can already notice a difference from 4 weeks ago. I'll definately be sticking around for another 8 weeks - all your stories have been really motivating.

    Have a great weekend

I'll join if it's not too late

    Sw: 105kg
    Cw: 100kg
    Gw: 95kg

I've managed to get down from size 20 to 18 and will most likely need a 16 soon (well at least in my Kmart gym pants lol).

Will come back later, I need to go back and read the whole thread

Well no weight loss for me this week - I stayed at 72kg but I know when I've previously lost weight I tend to lose then plateau, then lose again so I'll keep at it.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

2 days until the 4 weeks are up. Have lost over 4kg and very happy!

I shall scurry off to start an 8 week challenge later today.
