Can we ban talking about delicious food in this thread from now on, please?

    @~Marigold~

Is there somewhere I can go to look for inspiration for fast day meal plans?
Or would you be so kind to share some on yours?

I posted an example of what I usually eat on the previous page of this thread.
I'm not that creative, I just try and eat something filling in the morning (porridge or eggs and slice of toast keep me full for most of the day) and generally will eat something packaged for dinner on fast days (like tinned spag/baked beans or soup, or a lean microwave meal) because they are clearly labeled and fail proof; plus, I like to deal with and think about food as little as possible on those days! I've read about people who don't eat at all on fast days, but that's not my thing
It took a lot of trial and error for me, I'd never really counted calories as strictly as this before, but I actually discovered the 5:2 diet on another thread on bubhub a while back (last year some time I think) and followed it and successfully lost a few kilos with the other ladies. Not sure if I can find you the link on my phone but I'll try. You'll find lots of food ideas and tips in it 😃

Thank you! I've never counted calories either so it's a bit daunting! I don't think I could eat nothing - the children would be at risk of getting devoured. I'll try and find that link xx

I don't think I'll be taking her out in the pram again like that...she's just turned 3 and although she's still very little, I could definitely feel the difference between now and the last time I walked for exercise with her at the start of the year. Plus the pram kept veering to the right like a bad shopping trolley, so I was pretty much walking along side it to steer and steady it straight. It was freezing and my face was stinging from the sharp wind, nose running, just brutal! Think I'll dust off my stair master thingy tomorrow instead :/
As for food intake, it's been a fast day and I've stuck to my recommended 500 calories for the day.

Those damn jeans better look amazing on me in 3 weeks time, I've earned it I reckon!
I hear you on the pram front - my petite just turned 4 year old is so lazy and often wants to jump in the pram -
Trouble is im already pushing an almost 1 year old so the extra weight makes it impossible to steer. I can only do walks if I have the baby on her own.

It kills me because I'm such a walker but near impossible these days.

My official weigh in day is tomorrow but I can see im down a kilo which is promising. Im going to try to have a fast day tomorrow. I need to have a skinny latte in the morning because I have a horrible caffeine addiction and if I don't have one I get a terrible headache. I guess that's already 63 calories gone ! But I'm going to do your trick and drinks lots of tea and soda water.

You poor thing! How long have you been suffering from headaches? Do you have any plans to come off the medication ?
