I've lost a kilo! Wooooo! Not even a full week yet, but I've done 2 fasting days (Weds & Fri ) and results speak for themselves 😃 I've been eating normally/healthily on the off days.
    Really stoked!

So yesterday was a bit patchy with eating. I started well with tomato and cheese on spelt bread, a strawberry yoghurt for morning tea, but then a pie for lunch (oops!), and an OK finish with leftover lamb and an eggplant, lentil and herb salad with yoghurt tahini dressing for dinner.

I'm sticking with the daily yoga - yesterday it was a 20-minute session - plus took DS in the pram for a 40-minute walk. The yoga is really helping my back. It was like a steel rod prior to physio last week and now I'm feeling very little strain because I'm using it more each day.

    I weighed myself this morning...
    Starting weight: 66kg
    Today's weight: 65kg

Losing 1kg when I've still been a bit naughty with diet I think is indicative of just how much crap I was eating before without even thinking about it. Just creating that awareness and trying to be better and I've seen an improvement! I'm very excited and this is the inspiration I need to push forward and lose more.

I stuck to my low carb eating plan from Monday through to Sunday lunchtime. Then I had one of my mums scones with jam at brunch and had Cadbury pretzel chocolate after dinner.

I'm back on board this morning. I'm going to stick to low carb eating all week. I've had bacon and eggs for breakfast and walking to the gym for a pump class.

I'm curious as to what everyone's eating plans are? Do you count kilojoules or do you try to cut out snacks etc

I'm not counting anything, but I've been on and off weight watchers since I was a teenager so have a pretty good idea or portion sizes/what I should be eating. I'm just cutting way back on refined sugars, bread/pasta, the usual stuff. I know from experience that I don't do well with super strict dieting, so I still have a small bit of chocolate most days and stuff like that.

My biggest key to success is making sure I have healthy food ready to go for when hunger strikes. So a jar of salsa and tub of hommus in the fridge with veg sticks. Otherwise I'm straight for the crackers/chocolate!

    How's everyone going?

I did my third fast day yesterday. Some fasting days I really struggle, but yesterday I was fine, I think due to the filling breakfast I had, which was 2 boiled eggs on multigrain toast. This came in just under half my daily calorie allowance so I still had room for a couple of coffees, small dinner and loads of soda water with lemon juice to help keep me feeling full throughout the day.
Tomorrow marks the end of one week and I'll be doing another fast day.
