I buy throughout the year. I really start looking from July onwards. I find it's easier as we have a few nieces and nephews to buy for.

I don't. My kids only get 1-2 gifts each, so I want to make sure it's exactly what they want at that very moment, so I wait till December. The only exception to this would be if I were buying say a trampoline or other large whole family type of gift, which I would start organising sooner

I never know what to buy I can't seem to use my imagination, like be a kid for a few mins and think about what my boys would like

My house is overrun with cars, trucks, balls etc. I find a lot of the toys quite boring and expensive for what they are.

If anyone has any ideas what a 4yr old boy and an 18 month old boy would like, please help!!

What do people by their OH's?? Mines got everything

I always lay by in the mid year toy sales but am currently in the process of moving interstate so I'm not doing that this year. Have started a list of what DD & SDD like and will probably start looking in September

Usually a few months before..In the past I have started collecting things each month until Xmas. I used to put toys on layby at kmart but I don't think they have Xmas layby anymore
