I just got the blood results, it's 3780 (from 445 8 days ago), they said they are quite happy with it. According to the calculators, I should be at 5w2d now basing on ER day...
dating scan next Tuesday, another week of nervous waiting...
they told me have to visit my GP now and start arranging antenatal care, but I don't want to see my GP after she near missed my ectopic last time...thinking of asking my FS to give me the referral to high risk clinic straight away - high risk due to age, ivf, hypothyroidism, cervix incompetence and ectopic in history)
Does anyone know what options do we have to be as well looked after as possible? (Not necessarily private though?)

@A&S my nurse told me 2 weeks starts from transfer but on line are telling me something else.
@Barca07 my FS did a transvaginal and all he did was measurement and had a look around..no tlking just said that he could see the pregnancy.

@Phiphi I'm really not sure then. I was definitely told EPU day. But do your own online calculator thing and it will give you your due date and then work back from there.

@Phiphi - my clinic counts weeks the same way as a non IVF pregnancy would, to prevent confusion between the clinic and gp's. My transfer was on 3 July and they say I'm 6w2d at the moment...not sure if that helps you work out where you are at or not? If you are on the same time frame as me, it was hopefully just too early to hear the heart beat - my 7 week scan is not until Thursday next week for that. Either way, Wishing you all the best for tomorrow. xx

Wow! What a roller-coaster ride this journey is! After receiving news that results were good yesterday, I had heaps of bleeding last night. Went for another bloodtest this morning and received call to say pretty much prepare for the worst as my hcg and progesterone had dropped a lot. Went for an internal scan this afternoon, thinking it would confirm my worst fears but low and behold there was a heartbeat!!! I have never ever been so shocked and relieved in all my life!! We have a fighter! It turns out I have a haemorrhage on my uterus which has been causing the bleeding. I am now taking 1600mg of progesterone and on complete bed rest for the rest of the week. Goes to show ladies, an ultrasound speaks so much more than numbers.

What a day @Sunnysummers! Glad your little one is a fighter!

I went in to the FS today for a scan following yesterdays high HCG, which I found out was 96,000. Its on the high side but Im hoping its going to be OK.
I also got my dates corrected- Im currently 6w3d (thought I was 6). Had a scan and saw a little single baby measuring right for dates with a heart rate 0f 125.
So we are out of the woods for a complete molar pregnancy, won't be able to rule out partial for a while yet. The hcg certainly explains why I feel so ill all of a sudden!
