@Fudge09 I'm hoping it's just a late implanter for you. As hard as it is, try not to stress. I have heard of low numbers still ending up in a bub in arms xxxx
@Bongley I hear you on the why couldn't mine have done that!

@Fudge09 and @Corbes remember it's the doubling rate you need to worry about, the number can start low, as long as it doubles at the right rate then that's all that matters.

    You aren't out yet xxx🍀🍀🍀

I'm really worried about @MGC Bertie as well, the longer she doesn't pop in to say all is well and little bubba arrived, the more likely it seems that something has gone wrong Far out I hope she's just too busy to check in, or if anything is wrong, it is just minor and she'll post an update when things settle down. Geez I hope everything is OK...

@Corbes & @Fudge09 you are both still pretty early for testing, so cautious congrats and I've got everything crossed that Friday brings really good news with nicely rising numbers

Great news @Bongley - so happy you've got some good little frosties!

With your Ana being that high you def need steroids at a high dose to be able to conceive.
I have been led to believe that is not necessarily the case. My test last week came back with Antinuclear antibody as >1280 but my FS said that an additional test was then required to determine the type. The test was for ENA and dsDNA whatever tf that means, but he got those additional tests done and it indicated there is not a problem towards embyros ??? Having said that, I'm still waiting for the FS at Capetown to confirm. I will be so filthy if it turns out that my FS is wrong.

Congrats Bongley on getting the fourth one to biopsy stage. I hope you don't have to wait to long for the results.

Agree with everyone else's comments about how it doesn't feel really like you are a participant with donor eggs. I don't really think I can get excited again, although if I was 12 weeks preggers I'd probably change my tune. This ivf is making me tired.... just got my tax done and after ALL that IVF this year, its only added around $2000 onto my tax return and my accountant is off on maternity leave. Woe the hell is me.

    Default IVF over 40 #15

Fudge did they say anything about your progesterone? I had a chem back in March. Hcg was 51 at 16dpo but progesterone was very low. I went back two days later and hcg was 157 but progesterone was still dropping. I also had cramping and bleeding. I did do a lot of googling and I found a lot of stories of low hcg increasing at correct rates and bubs being born. I hope you will be one of the many ladies who have had success from an initial low beta.

That's right. Fingers crossed for Friday for both of you x
Afm, 1 blasty on board, the embryologist said it was a great looking emby, better than my last one. And FS said it was a perfect transfer, no reason I shouldn't get pregnant. Here's hoping

@Fudge09 fingers crossed its just a late starter - as others have said its entirely possible but I know how stressful that stuff is. There isn't anything you can do, we're all crossing every limb and digit that this one works out!

@BlondeinBrisvegas It is really worrying that she hasn't called in even just for a quick post. God I hope everything is OK, thats the trouble with the forum being anonymous I guess, no way of contacting someone to see if they are ok when you don't hear from them in here.

@Petal40 congrats on being PUPO! sounds like you've got one great embie on board, hoping this is your bub! When do you start testing?

@leyshoja thats pretty woeful after all the money you've spent. Lets just hope this next trip ensures you come back with an extra person on board!!! Its your turn FFS!!!

we are currently getting a dishwasher installed and Im over the goddamn moon!!! No more wasting time washing up. Going to use every single dish in the house tonight when i cook dinner YIPPEE!
