Beckymae and tuxcat I'm so sorry to hear that you are both out.
Good luck Beckymae with your afterthought next month.
Tuxcat good luck with your stim next month. Not having worked in a toxic environment for a few months before this stim will have done you the world of good. Well done on your win.

Skyler I am glad you spoke your mind at work. Keeping it in would give you even more stress. Sorry to hear you are still struggling emotionally and I hope today's counselling helps you slightly.

Leyshoja you will find the money somehow. You always do for what you really desire. We have always tried to put the cost of IVF out of our heads by saying it's only money, we can make more of that.

Charlie sorry only one emby made it to testing. Hoping it is the one for you.

Leisylou I am glad you are taking time to heal your mind, body and soul heal. Enjoy the next 6 months and I know you will be at peace with your decision whatever it may be.

Blonde you have a such a beautiful soul.

Bongle all the best for the epu tomorrow. Hopefully you can create an opposing football team to Chiefsgirl's.

I had my blood test this morning and levels are good so not a chemical. I go back next week for another draw.

Someone said their doc recommended him as a very good surgeon too.
That was me. 'Best surgeon in a generation' is what M.Bowman the director of Genea said about AM, Bongley's BF!!! Plus he has a good bedside manner and once he is relaxed he has a crazy laugh!! So he's good, even though my FS is MB, AM said he'll probs be seeing me if I cycle again coz MB likes to play golf!
My very close girlfriend has 2 bubs via AG and rates her highly.

And Corbes you can take valium for transfer and I have done so in the past because I have spasms when something passes the wrong way through the cervix. Valium is a benzodiazepine so it is a muscle relaxant not actually an analgesic but the fact that you are relaxed, lessens any pain that may occur through tensing up.

Leisylou hi there and I'm glad you have a plan that suits you going forward. I know what it's like to be done with this whole journey.

Hooray Emerald such great news! I think little pgd normal is here to stay!

Hey Charlie, it's a crappy feeling I know. However when I have been through cycles, I am like you, I get alot of eggs but then an inevitable drop off by day 5. The FS's have assured me the usual number of blastocysts per stimulation is ONE or NONE. They told me this after I had gotten 3 or 5 in stim cycles which had given me unrealistic expectations for subsequent cycles. It is hard to be realistic about this part of it, especially when comparing ourselves to others which we should not do. And we always want more than one and a back up plan. But honestly it is good that you are able to produce blasts at all.

Tuxcat hoping you are ok honey. I've got my white and black cat here on my desk sitting in a sunbeam, don't they always find the warmest most comfortable spot?

Good luck tomorrow Bongley, too bad you are not the one getting your eggs collected as you are having to share your bf with the donor. Hope she's not too young and hot!!

Beckymae, so sorry honey it's the pits. Hopefully the afterthought comes through for you.

AFM, went from the Genea counsellor to the gp and got 2 weeks off work and a referral to a Psychologist. The gp said it's no wonder I am not coping with ivf, surgery and work stress. Great gp and very understanding, did not make me feel like a nut case. So I'm feeling better because I've got a plan.

And Winsor, keeping the hope alive is not a bad thing. Wishing for a BFP for you.

So much happening here sorry if I've missed anyone.

    Love it Dr Brisvegas
I was prescribed 10mg one hour b4 transfer but found that 5mg was enough ie one tablet. Have a look at the mg on the tab because there are some p1ss weak 2mg tabs out there!

Just spoke to the lovely nurse at RPA and they are going to let me do another stim cycle and keep the Afterthought on ice! They said considering my age they'll allow it as I only have one frosty 😀😀😀
