    OMG three BFP's!!!!

Huge congrats to @Chiefsgirl @Emerald26 & @beckymae - such good news and really exciting to see some BFPs after all the heartache. Fingers crossed for boring, uneventful, but happy pregnancies all round.

Love & babydust to everyone still on the journey

    Hi @Charlie74

I also was told by a chinese acupuncturist (who is also a GP) that i am cold and have cold hands and feet. He said that this affects the circulation and in addition this also affects the blood supply to the uterus.

He recommended that i always cover up by wearing closed in shoes etc and that i don't walk bare footed on cold floors and keep my head covered on cold days. He said to keep as warm as possible.

He also gave me a list of warm foods to eat and told me to avoid cold foods. You can find lists of additional warm foods recommended by Chinese medicine online.

The one cycle i used him and followed his recommendations is actually in hindsight the most success i have ever had. I got to 18 weeks pregnancy before we lost our son to an unrelated reason.

There could be some merit in it because cold is a vascular constrictor and narrows the blood vessels hence perhaps slowing the blood flow. Who am i to contradict something that has been practised for thousands of years! It is worth a shot.

I would also think aspirin during your cycle would be helpful too. I am on a mini dose of baby aspirin 100mg a day for every cycle. It is recommended by my FS.

@Charlie74 if you think you might have an auto immune issue I would def get a full immune work up done by your FS or see a fertility immune dr, auto immune diseases/issues can wreck havoc with conception.

In terms of blood flow a Chinese accupuncturist I saw told me to put a hot water bottle on my tummy every night from AF to ovulation to help blood flow to the uterus.

My hcg results are in 232 and p4 was 146 today was 13dpo!

@Charlie74 You should probably keep taking the Progynova but at an increased dose (6-8 tabs a day). Only thing is I'm not too sure when you would start as I've never had a FET?/

Anyhoo, you can also try L-Arginine 2g's twice a day, Vit E capsules. Also, baby aspirin and clexane injections will promote blood flow/circulation which should help too.

Everything but the Clexane and Progynova you can get at the chemist and your GP can give you a script for the others. One 30mg Clexane injection a day but again and hoping one of the other Lovelies who's done FET's will let you know when to take it (wouldn't be until after AF's been and gone Anyhoo Luv).
@Chiefsgirl makes a great point and suggestion for getting tested for immune issues too.

Am sure your Chinese Medicine lady will have some kind of concoction to drink or tabs to take etc.

How have your embies gotten on today??

@Bongley, gosh what a muck up with your donor's ovary! I hope the lucrin trigger does the trick and she doesn't get sick. It's still a very exciting time!

@Charlie74 Wazza also had me on Nitrodur patches and a drug called Trental to dilate the blood vessels to get more blood flow to the uterus as my lining was a bit thin. I did all the warming foods, hot water bottle, castor oil packs on my abdomen (up until ovulation), baby aspirin, vitamin E and pomegranate juice. It all worked as my lining ended up pretty good. Good luck with it - with all the great advice I'm sure you'll build that lining up in no time!
@Chiefsgirl that is an awesome result! Congrats again!!
