    Default IVF over 40 #15

@Emerald26 I'm so sorry to hear that Not fair !
Congratulations @Charlie74, sounds like you've got a great batch on the go.
AFM I keep alternating between 'we need to keep doing this forever (until we succeed)' and 'next transfer is the end of the road'. I mean, jeez if 19 embryos can't give me one that sticks, I've got to wonder if I should just accept fate and stop digging this financial pit deeper and deeper.
Spoke to my brother last night, who has two little girls that were running around screaming and fighting at the time(lol) and said 'knowing my financial situation (not that great) and the fact that DP is ready to stop, when do you think we should give up'. His answer, 'when you can't get any more money'. So keep going for as long as it takes I guess? He then said I'd probably be too old in about two years - thanks for that !! Easy for him to say when he's a gazillionaire. He paid for our first donor cycle, and God knows when or if I'll be able to pay it back (18500), no way I'd ask him ever again. I guess we just keep redrawing from loans and running up credit cards... I wish DP would hurry up and win the lotto ffs,

    Default IVF over 40 #15

Great news Charlie. Fingers crossed you still have all 6 going by Tuesday and most can be biopsied.
@BlondeinBrisvegas you mentioned that you had a bleed when you were pregnant. Could you please tell me more about it. I had this light red bleeding last night (had light pink spotting in Thursday) and this morning only light brown spotting. I was going to stop progesterone but a voice in my head told me to do a test. I just did one and got a positive. I wish i hadn't had done that as I don't think it will end well. Will do another one tomorrow morning (I only got a little bit of wee on it.

Thanks for all your support earlier ladies. It helped me feel better reading your messages.

I had the beginnings of AF when I got my IVF BFP. Usual pre AF spotting and then AF started but stopped - I always guessed that once my hormone levels were high enough my brain shut off my period. I don't know if this is called Breakthrough bleeding. Thats so exciting, I hope everything is ok, have you had any more bleeding today?

@Emerald 26 Well...well...well...and what do we have here??? A BIG FAT FRUCKING POSITIVE THAT'S WHAT!!!!

Yes Luv, that's right I did. On the night of 13dpo (AF was due then or the next day at 14dpo) when going to the toilet that night before bed I noticed bright pink staining on the toilet paper (musk colour) so with a heavy heart and expecting the worst yet again, I got out my "feminine hygiene product" and put a cork in it for the night!!

The next morning it was just brown spotting on abovementioned feminine hygiene product and that was that (actually, that's what prompted me to test because AF hadn't arrived like she normally would've). It was breakthrough bleeding as @tuxcat said which often happens when your period is due and you're Preggo

Agree with the other Girls, it's a bloody solid line (how many dpo are you??) so I'm calling it a BFFP!!!!! When are you due for your BT??? Am freaking excited for you Girl!!!!

P.S....My line(s) never looked that good either when I had my Chemical on Cycle 1 just so you know!!!
