    For me, I was happy to have the valium. My transfers have always been painful due to scar tissue on my cervix from previous Gynae surgery, so it was always excrutiating for me (hence the pethidine/valium cocktail from Wazza!!!).

    I'd also experienced cramping and a bit of spotting afterwards on either my first or second Cycle (my original FS recommended valium as well after my first transfer but I had to provide it!!) and although both are quite common after ET, for myself, I'd preferred the preventative approach.

    This is another area where FS's have a difference of opinion, same as the immune issue argument, but for me, I think if it's not going to harm/hurt anything (which it's not and it doesn't), then I'd rather give it a go than not.

    Yep, I have painful Pap smears so transfer is horrible, no matter how much they tell me to relax! This time I used a meditation technique and the Valium and all was good.

    I've also just been able to stay calm these last cpl of days and not overthink what is going on - well much anyway!

    I got it wrong too, it's transfer day then 2 days after so three days all up.

    @winsor do you have your transfer time yet?

    Mines at 10.30, so plenty of time to stress out that something will go wrong before hand !!! Pass me a valium!

    FX we both have good results tomorrow. I don't want to have to write IVF #10 on my signature!!!

    yes, good luck to you too @tuxcat. I hope my eggs are good (at least one of them). a high chance they're not due to my age, but we still have hope.

    mine's at 10:45am, that's cutting it fine, 15mins.

    @tuxcat @winsor Bloody Hell you 2!! Now you're "transfer buddies" as well!!😊 I'm hoping this is a good omen for you both!!

    Fingers crossed/Babydust to you both plus I'll be sending prayers the Universe's way as well!!😊

    @tuxcat Pity you're not close by or I'd toss a few Val's your way!!😀

    Plenty in my cupboard😁 (for my insomnia/anxiety "issues" caused by my clinical depression @ not because I'm a drug addict or selling them on the black market!!!😁).

    Ok, I'm starting to get shirty now. I'm still waiting for CFC to even tell me that I need to go off my medications (which I already did yesterday when I informed them of the BFN) and to respond to my email with questions about tests required, timing of next cycle, and a few other questions I had, and all I've received so far is the freakin price list (which @emski72 already sent me thanks). I know they are busy but FFS it is all about ME right now ! DP still won't commit to another donor if required. He's a non-committer.
