I couldn't wait so called again. daniel (I think that's his name) told me: 4 are still going. whew

day3: they like to see them at 6-8 cells
of the 5 - 4 are in range:
1 pcm/d? partly compacted development - leading embryo
    9 cells

    8 cells

    6 cells

5th is at 2 cell stage - they'll keep it growing but it likely won't make it
50% between today / day3 & wed will drop off (statistically speaking)

awesome @winsor!! FX you will get a couple of frosties. Ive had 2 from 2 make it to blast -1 transfer and 1 frozen before so it is possible.

I just got the call too..1 is partially compacted into a morula so is a bit ahead and the other is 8 cells.

right..now i can actually do some work!!!

yeah, hopefully I heard him correctly. I didn't catch the acronym properly. but he said one had just started / was as pcm (or pcd) stage. maybe this was the biggest follicle as I think it was ahead of the others. the 5th one might have been from the smallest follicle which just scraped through. (but who really knows - the numbers do seem to match the range of follicle sizes/groupings though; perhaps a co-incidence). hopefully 50% won't drop off by wed. he said this is the most crucial part - between day3 & day5.

@winsor it probably means its the same as mine - partially compacted morula. So I read that as its on its way to becoming a morula. Correct me anyone who knows this - the girl said it was good. I don't think Ive ever had one ahead before. Lets hope its the golden one..

FFS give me a baby !!!!!

They must be onto me. My 'urgent by 2pm' blood test result has not come back yet, so they've probably cottoned on.

Tuxcat and winsor what great results for you. Having ones starting to compact on day 3 is excellent.

Charlie74 your lining may not be an issue. I thought you were going to do pgs this cycle? If so, you wouldn't be transferring till next month (unless they have changed the process)

Cheifsgirl congrats on all the embryos you have frozen.

Bongley my left ovary always hides. I think they just really press on it to move it during epu as they have accessed it both times.
