@Corbes HCG is supposed to double roughly every 48 hrs in the early stages.

I'd be going off dpo rather than LMP in your case Luv😊

ETA- Look on the Babymed site I posted a link to earlier...it tells you there about HCG doubling rates etc.

I'm thinking of a really low dose, but yeah a bit wary. My FS is not for it but was going to run it past some other specialists too but waiting on his final response. I've also sent yet another email to the Cape Town clinic asking what is their opinion on the BT results and stalking my own email...
After 17 embies i can't help wondering but I did have 2 pregnancies. The second one didn't grow for over two weeks before we induced the m/c and even tho the dr put it down to chromosomal issues, I wonder if it stopped because my body attacked it? That was the donor embie.
(Was still alive, just not growing, first m/c was Down's syndrome)

@leyshoja Yep..if I was in your shoes I'd definitley self medicate even if it was just a conservative dose of 10mg's every morn.

Wazza had me on 20mg's daily in my last Cycle (upped from 10mg's on Cycle 4) as a preventative dose.

I wish that damn CT clinic would give their second opinion on it !
Absolutely not. Self medicating is not a good idea. I realise on this thread many ppl recommend it but ppl study for years and years to get the right to prescribe medication to humans OR animals. Even serious amounts of google research does not qualify a person as a Doctor. And your vet may start questioning why your dog is going through so much pred. Not sure why my opinion on this gets shot down all the time but I could not read this and not reply.
Good luck to all of you.
    And thanks for everything.
