So girls any ideas when the HCG doubling is supposed to happen and at what rate? Am so impatient (?) and have booked in to see my GP tomorrow in between waiting for the IVF clinic bloods on Friday. So am hoping she will send me for more bloods tomorrow morning to tide me over.

Also checking dr Google (so dangerous) and if the sticky sticks, this means I am 5 weeks today, but I'm only 10DPO because this has been a highly unusual super loooong cycle after the antagonist IVF cycle. Do they really count it off last AF, seems ridiculous coming off these long stim cycles when I should actually be more 3 wks...
@Corbes I would subtract two weeks from EPU and use that date. IVF longer cycles stuff up the numbers..

I'm also really seriously looking into donor eggs thanks to the fab girls in this forum. I know we aren't quite there yet, we still need our embie results & we'll also do one more OE cycle, but I'm keeping our hope alive by knowing we still have options to be parents if our own cycles don't give us a result. It can be ridiculously affordable if u go overseas, and the girls in here that are so positive about it all are a real inspiration for me.

@leyshola & @Chiefsgirl how do you claim IVF stuff in ur tax? Can everyone do that?
Re the ANA stuff.. I'm still waiting on the antiphospolipid results- although not sure what they will mean. My ENA was negative though. But I've gotta say I'm petrified of transferring our embie if it's ok, only to possibly have my body attack it!!! This embie may be our only chance at a baby! There's so much at stake.. It's a real worry
Sorry @Charlie74 this was the last year for claiming medical expenses

Ok you guys are getting me worried over this immunity thing so I have been thinking.... I can easily get my hands on prednisolone (my dog takes it I'm ashamed to say) - who thinks I should self medicate..? Mum also was on it and has some... I wish that damn CT clinic would give their second opinion on it !

I personally wouldn't self medicate. There's risks with taking it and I had the bad experience so if you were going to do it just remember it suppresses your immune system and can cause issues. Up to you but I think following the advice of your specialist is the best way. I'm sure there are other opinions so your call but just be careful.
