I don't know any hubbers personally (well that I'm aware of thus far!!) but I guess if you started putting info in posts together with identifying info then yeah, the potential is definitely there.

sorry I didn't mean to offend anyone with my comments. I'm genuinely curious about names as we are having a bub and I'm kind of collating a shopping list of cool names as I go.

Check out the baby name threads in that case. Plenty of discussion and suggestions in there.

It wasn't intentional - but both ds's have got biblical names. Dd's name is a popular name.

Nope, their names were picked for what best suited them off the very small list of names that DH and I both agreed on. Coincidently they both end in 'n' but that's about it.

No theme for my DS. No theme for any future children either.

No theme - I just wanted names that couldn't be shortened, and that didn't end in 'a' or 'y', as my husband's two daughters from his first marriage have names that end in those letters. I was adamant that I wanted my children to have names ending in different letters and that wouldn't be shortened. Both their names do have four letters.

Yes. Not by design, but they are theme-able.

My kid's weren't named what they were for any particular reason, but I soon realised our whole family have names that can be shortened to 3 letters. We sign off on cards as Rob, Caz, Ham, Mik and Ben. I WAS going to attempt to name baby 3 a name that could do the same, but couldn't find a boy name we liked that suited. Girl name is Holly so I guess she could be Hol, but boy name is Lincoln, so he'd sign off as Linc. hehe. He get's an extra special letter

Oh yes, I got the name of my kids from the book The Lord of the Rings. My son is named Rohan after the Kingdom of Rohan, and my daughter Arwen from the eleven princess Arwen
