The only theme we have is family names. Both boys have first names with meaning on my side and middle names from DH's. I'm actually really worried if this is another boy as we have run out of family names we love and we love our boys names.

We have an Albie John and a Parker William.

No, but I dated a guy in high school whose dad names them after the Beetles. (Mario) George, Paul, John and Richard (Ringo's real name).

The mum didn't clue in until the father asked her what Ringo Starr's real name was. Cracks me up to this day.

Italian names- we have an Italian surname.

I wanted Irish middle names, H argued people wouldn't be able to pronounce them, I argued people wouldn't know anyway as noone really takes notice of middles names... First boy will have my dad's name as a middle name (dad is irish but the name isn't), first girl will have a short version of my aunts name as a middle name (also not irish).

    No theme.

But, DH and I are teachers and we teach at the same school (P-12, 1200 kids). We didn't want a name of any child we had ever taught or a kid in our school with that name.

lol, no theme but narrowed the choices for sure!

DD's name (Savannah) is from one of my favourite book series and bubby #2 both names (Annabeth and Talon) are also from favourite book series. DD's is ridiculously common now which is somewhat upsetting

Yup. But it was total coincidence. My two kids start with the same letter.
