@wazbub your not allergic to the oil are you? I think it's suspended in sesame oil.

So sorry to hear it is THAT painful - how unfortunate!!

This is going to sound a bit bizarre, but could it be related to a pregnancy symptom? I ask simply because one of my strongest early pregnancy symptoms (this time and last time) was feeling my ligaments hurt, which always felt like a jabbing pain in my abdomen and groin area - around the hip flexor.

Apparently it is quite common and it caused by our bodies releasing some hormone that allows our ligaments to stretch more easily. Google "round ligament pain".

As you are 7 days past transfer (I think) it's very possible that this is what you are feeling. For me it started a little bit at 4 days, then very strong at 5 days past transfer. Perhaps the gestone is aggravating it.

Other than this theory I don't know what to say, and I very much hope it gets better for you.

    Kay

Oh i hope its a symptom!! I've been too scared to test so far
Going to now google and read up on it.

Not sure if im allergic. I dont have any swelling or redness to accompany to discomfort. I also cook with sesame oil a bit and have never had any reaction to it.

The pain isn't as bad now so I'm guessing it might have had something to do wth being stuck in a chair for a prolonged period of time.

Wazbub - most of the literature says ligament pain starts later due to the weight of your belly, but for me I get it immediately, like my ligaments are preparing to stretch.

Totally understand about not taking an HPT, you are much wiser than I was!! I'm so excited to hear your good news when it comes :-)

Miss Sagi – Thanks… I haven’t heard back from the lab, so I don’t think they re-froze the embie. Will send an email just to confirm.

PSS and Ferngirl – I hope you had a smooth transfer today and you are both PUPO!!

Wow, good luck girls! It's going to be one FRER test after another in about 5 days time!!
Thanks so much for your Gestone advice every-one. Medically, what's the difference between Gestone injections & Crinone gel?
Can I have a whinge....I think I'm being completely ripped off by my donor's shuttle company. But what I can do. Complain. My donor's going to go through so much for me I'd feel like an a*se complaining!! Or maybe it's an accurate price Milnerton to Claremont return $63.
As an update for the intralipid girls, LB is now offering them through Epworth Hawthorn. $575 for the daybed plus an extra few hundred for the infusion. Covered if you have PHI. I have an excess of $500 so I'll do it at CFC instead. LB's office & Epworth both saying that Intralipid infusions are unproven.

@leyshoja I've just been scrolling through the posts looking for your CT dates but can't find them again. There's a slight chance my dates might move forward a week so in CT, 28 Sept to 2 Oct. You were late Sept weren't you?

Tahli .. We asked that and the nurse said no difference except some doctors prefer gestone (like ours) but there would be no problem substituting in a pinch ! I'd say it's gets into your system faster ? Maybe but crinone, progestone pessaries , gestone all the same... progesterone ... Good luck !
