@Tahli you could always import US sperm, but of course that's an additional cost.
There is an Australian Donor Children page on Facebook trying to link donor siblings - don't think there is a specific SA file there but you could always start one up...
For me I'm not really interested in doing that at this point in time, but I'm sure there are plenty who are.

I registered with them initially but had a few dealings with one of the *ladies* who runs it and she got quite narky when I questioned the cost Vs the SA agencies. She even accused me of few things including being a liar and a *spy...

@leyshoja You're like me I have plan B (DE at CFC in Oct), C (OE at Monash in Nov) and D (FET at CFC in Dec)!! What doesn't sit well with me at all is the sperm donors via CFC. It's like the old days of uni students donating with the financial reward being the only motivation & without thought to the future needs of the child. The complete opposite to Monash. I so hope SA have a change of regs on anonymity. K said in her 14 yrs of asking sperm donors if they'd be open to future contact with a child the donors have all said 'no'.
@Canuck1 In your research on websites that link up donor conceived children, was there an Aussie version or one where we can leave the details of our SA donor/s. I'd love to know if my future child had half siblings in Oz or anywhere else for that matter. I fully appreciate how complex this issue is & emotionally charged.
@Tahli perhaps look at this site:

    https://www.donorsiblingregistry.com...istry?faID=190

What you have to remember if that CFC has international patients coming from a variety of countries so an Australian website may not be as beneficial to link up with others.

@Blinky76 It does seem to be pretty donor sperm oriented, I don't pay too much attention to it in all honesty because of that, but it pops up in my feed...

Ta @Blinky76 the lying spy! Oh my, the cheek of her!! I just checked your link out, thanks.
Girls, if you were only going over to CT for 5 nights on your own where would you chose to stay? I'd love to find a spot in a cute bay so it felt like a holiday. As I only have 5 nights I just want the one place to stay. The Vineyard is looking a bit too pricey.

We stayed here for part of our stay last time:

It is at seapoint right near the esplanade which was lovely to walk along each morning. Also great cafes etc nearby.

@Tahli when I was here for FET I stayed at Quadrant Apartments (about $500) for 4 nights. It's the apartment complex right next to CFC and across the road from the hospital, so could just walk across for my Gestone shots. Not a cute place but was clean, comfortable and safe and very convenient for the shots.
@emski72 - what's the place in Woodstock you got your quilts from? I've just realised we will have up to 40ppl for christmas So keen to check out cutlery sets.

Is someone able to give me any guidance on how to prepare and give myself the pregnyl booster injection? I have to have it today so took it to the hospital but the nurse wasn't sure. The leaflet in the pack just talks about your doctor deciding the dose and appears I need to dissolve one ampule in the other? The leaflet says it should be intramuscular but the pharmacy in perth said into my stomach! I'm confused!!
