Check Clexane price with CFC before you leave as I think it is cheaper in Aus ($37.70 for 20) than SA unlike progesterone.

I will be interested in your fish oil theory & results too as I have arthritis and have been on 6000mg of fish oil for that for years plus I added prednisone and Clexane when TTC but it was only when intralipids where added that I got past 8w preg. Having said that I don't have high ANA just an imbalance in some of the CD markers so it isn't exactly your situation.

Re CFC and immune..... I was told too that they are not prescribing any of the drugs we talk about. They will just tell us if they are ok with us using them in conjunction with their DE transfer cycle. It is a small line but important to remember in case you were hoping for an immune treatment plan from them. The CFC doctors are IVF specialists not Reproductive Immunologists.

It took me a long time to accept that all if this is 'try and see' rather than there being a definitive plan to follow for problem XYZ, do I understand your stress in not knowing what to do we have all been there I am sure.

@leyshoja - I would skip the fish oil and stick to the clexane/aspirin/intralipids protocol.

I was on both aspirin and clexane for the same reason as suggested by Miss Sagi.

As for the intralipids - it's my understanding that by regularly having it up to week 12-14 it helps prevent antibodies developing on the lining of your uterus. I was told it only lasts approx. 10-14 days hence why it needs to be done regularly.

The infusion nurse who administered mine explained that it kind of coats the lining, Aiding implantation but then also Preventing 'rejection' of the embryo/embryos in early pregnancy..

Well that's interesting @Cathy69! I'm on around 6000 now too so will see next week I suppose.

As for the intralipids, the reason I'm looking at fish oil for an alternative to intralipids is only because I can't even get my first appt with the immune specialist until after my transfer so the first intralipid I get will be in CT and no idea when they would be able to get me in for the next one in here in Aus.
Also I have no private hosp cover anymore so it's gonna be exxy but that's just too bad I suppose
I will see what the BT indicates next week re ANA change, or not, then negotiate/talk to my FS about the clexane and reduce the fish oils to a normal dose if I go on clexane then.
It seemed to me that a lot of people started the clexane just prior to transfer which is what I was planning on organising when I get to CT. That is also why I wasn't too stressed about getting my hands on clexane now - I still have 3 weeks till I leave for CT ...?

Well we just went to drop off another sample and saw on the invoice their VAT number so asked if we can claim the VAT back - apparently you can!! So they printed all my tax invoices from all three trips (not sure likelihood for previous trips but will try).

Has anyone else tried claiming this?

    Hi PSS

Is this the VAT refund on the way out of the country? I'll ask as well on Monday.

Public service announcement for all ... Not been to Inverdoorn? Go! Definitely worth it! We didn't have the best weather but still a great time.

I will be interested to hear the outcome. When we claimed VAT at the airport we had to show them every item we purchased.
