But you're having intralipids so you don't necessarily need the fish oil...my thinking is just use the appropriate drugs that are used by most Fertility specialists...I just want you to get your bfp!

Ok, he's not back until Tuesday (semi retired - how dare he) so I will talk to him then. I will definitely wait until my blood test result though, getting it tested on Monday. Possible results
    1. if my ANA has gone down because of the pred/fish oil combo I will stay on the fish oil until CT then do my intralipid in CT and start the clexane just prior to transfer.
    2. If my ANA has not budged, I will drop the fish oil and get my FS to give me clexane.

Does that sound like a reasonable plan A and B?

Thanks Crabby! Oh yes, important detail, she said yes and another table bought them a nice bottle of bubbles!

PSS – I take it you said ‘YES’ to the proposal? If so, Congrats on your engagement !

Oh no not mine Faith, we were merely bystanders. I've never seen a proposal in public before - the whole restaurant was watching. It was beautiful.

So as per Dr W - the pred stops the production of antibodies and the intralipids 'mop up' existing antibodies - I'm hoping the fish oil will help with the 'mopping up' in the abscence of me getting intralipids until I get to CT
Aspirin is a blood thinner whereas Clexane is an anticoagulant which stops the blood from clotting. I take it twice a day as I have the mthfr mutation (both copies) and high ANA.

Leyshoja – CFC do not really believe in immune issues and will rarely encourage you to take Pred/Clexane/Intralipids, unless you ask them for it. They know some of their patients are on Immune Protocols and will accommodate them, by supplying the medication.
With my February cycle, when I asked Dr LR if I could have Intralipid, he told me, ‘Yes, we can do that for you, as long as you understand there is no clinical proof of their benefit’.
With this cycle, I asked him for Clexane, and although he agreed… He wasn’t specific about when I should start. First he said, I should start the same day as the Gestone (5 days before Tx), and then at my lining scan appointment, he said to start on day of transfer.

Default Egg Donation in South Africa #10

Hmmm it's like black magic isn't it. A definitive answer would be nice. I'll definitely get clexane while I'm at CFC a few days prior to transfer if I don't get it beforehand.
