    I bought it from the UK so I didn't even think about claiming it with phi...der!
    Sorry to here about your sperm donor. I'm going to check my paperwork as I'm sure he was an IVF one.

    @leyshoja CFC haven't organised it yet, just suggested it but b/c they already have the sperm (donor) apparently it's do-able! My egg donor has donated through them 4 times already so I'm hoping they have her protocol down pat by now, although on her last donation she produced 29 eggs & 'only' got 2 blasts. I'm so keen to hear from CFC to see just how soon my donor can start.

    Tahli, I would be asking cfc why only 2 blasts out of 29 eggs. Thats not a good ratio, I would really query it. Perhaps there were alot of immature eggs in that lot?

    I agree Tahli that's a terrible drop off! And for a tried Donor they should know how she really ts to the protocol.

    I agree girls & when I asked Dr H about it he just said 'IVF is unpredictable'. At which point I decided not to go with him. Unpredictable with my OE but with DE & after 4 cycles I'd be hoping for a bit more predictability. She's had 2 different FSs at CFC. I'm going to delve further once I get access to Dr W as he hasn't done one of her cycles yet & will have fresh eyes. I'd love a repeat of cycle 3 or 4! I'll only be doing a single transfer.
    Her stats are...
    Cycle 1: 11 eggs = 2 blasts
    Cycle 2: 11 eggs = 4 blasts
    Cycle 3: 21 eggs = 8 blasts
    Cycle 4: 25 eggs = 2 blasts
    Resulting in 3 pregnancies (2 of these are on-going. I need to query the 3rd): 1 single pregnancy (2 embies), 1 set of twins (2 embies), 1 set of twins (1 embie).

    Ask how many were injected and how many fertilised to get those blasts.

    I just had a text from Jennski who asked me to let everyone know that she had 2 blasts transferred today! She said she's flat on her back on the sofa.

    I'm hoping that she's twice as fortunate as I was :-)

    Thank you ALL OF YOU for your congratulations! I feel so grateful and fortunate and happy.

    @Blinky76 - yes I will be doing the early blood test! Wild horses couldn't keep me away from that blood draw.

    @Tahli - I just transferred one B4AA.

    @emski72 - if you are traveling with your baby I hope you have completed the relevant paperwork to enter SA. I only mention this because we had a NIGHTMARE with this - terrible terrible nightmare. They are not joking around with these new laws that came into force in June. You need the papers for entry and exit with your child, even if both parents are traveling.
