Faith15 - how did you go? I fly Saturday, but can try to scoot up to the Chemist if it helps you ...
Wazbub - safe travels tomorrow, I think you are flying out aren't you?
Tahli and Charlie - take notes. I have 29 pages of them and refer to them all the time. Even DH picks them up and finds the info he needs.
Miss Sagi - wow, well over half way. I hope I am in your position one day soon -athough I'm a long wheel base at 5'9"!!!!!
Emski - do you know which car hire co in SA gets Velocity points? I know you are pretty savvy with that sort of thing.
AFM - still waiting for those fairies to show up - they're cuttin' it fine!! Hehe, I should be packing but instead I'm typing ... Our apartment has a washing machine so we can pack light, it shouldn't take long. Strangely, I am still not excited yet, although I calculated my 2ww will end on Fathers Day that's exciting for DH. Hopefully that's a good omen and we will have good POAS news. If not, it will be the worst day ever. I guess I should start work on Plan B.
Europecar is aligned with Virgin/velocity
Jennski...I don't think those fairies exist, but if they do, send them this way!
Hello with faiths question now I'm wondering.... With no particular issues I'm only taking elevit, what other supplements are/ were you taking at what stage.
Emski and Miss Sagi - Thank you ladies for that great advice will definitely change to that.
Ferngirl - My FS prescribed those additional supplements as part of my treatment, after some tests.
August Ladies - Wishing you the best with this cycle and praying this is the ONE for us all.
Tahli, yep they moved fast alright. My donor wasn't on the pill either so maybe I just got lucky and her cycle was in the right place? @ferngirl,, I've just been told this morning by the CT clinic that this cycle I will go on 15mg prednisolone and intralipid therapy for my high ANA (killer cells but thats debatable)... neither they, nor my local doctor believe in killer cells, but they will treat me for it regardless. Good.
I'm also on fish oil, CoQ10, Vit C (mainly for my skin lol), Vit D, Vit B every few days and a low dose aspirin also for my antibody issues. I'll be glad to one day not have to choke down all those tablets...
So many supplements... I take triple vit d (3000iui) because I'm always low or borderline, b6, b12 3×week, l-methylfolate, prenatal, I used to take fish oil but stopped as it makes me feel sick.
I'm taking Elevit, Meta Zinc & Vit C, Biotress (a practitioner dispensed multi-vitamin that has higher dosages of everything you can think of + the kitchen sink!) and a green smoothie (Apple pear celery spinach coriander lettuce etc = yum!) with Supergreens powder (wheatgrass, chlorella, spiralina, and barley grass) Maca, cinnamon and termeric in it for brekky each morning.
DH has Biotress, zinc, Vit C, Vit E (which are all in Menevit, that's out of stock in our city at the moment). The chemist lady also told me the men should always be on a Menevit-style multi and some additional zinc (it's good for the cell walls of the sperm) and extra Vit C because zinc has to have Vit C and Vit C has to have zinc to work. Those two work in synergy.
We well and truly rattle each morning, DH rides his pushy to work and he says he can feel them and the water sloshing about in his belly!
We also take our TCM herbs (strangely, I am used to the Gawd-awful taste now).
I don't know if any of it helps, but it sure can't hurt. We feel great if nothing else!
Jennski, make sure none if the multi vitamins or powders you take don't have vitamin A in them. We can't take that vitamin.
Emski, I'm vitamin D deficient. Instead of another vitamin to keep tge level up I take it in oil form, comes in a little syringe and tastes like olive oil. You only need it every 3mths. Saves me gagging on another vitamin.
Faith, i also take a vit B6 and B12 with the meth-l as it assists it to be obsorbed.
If you're on Pred also take calcium and magnesium as the pred depletes your body of this.
