Anyone found an iron supp that didn't constipate you? Tried all the ones that say they don't - but they do!

    Whats a "fundal height"?
Fundal height is the measurement from the pubic bone to the top of the uterus - it is generally equal to gestation time. IE a fundal height of 30cm is thought to equate to 30 weeks gestation.

Patsy - Huge congratulations on the safe arrival of your baby daughter. A huge relief and joy for you. Enjoy every second of your precious miracle. Xx

Crabby - I found the liquid Spatone from chemists to be a lot better than any iron tabs I've tried.

I love all this talk of Short Wheel Bases - I'm only 5ft2. Wondering if there is something in this for Fertility researchers??

AFM - I'm back in hospital again with high BP and headaches. Had none of this with my first pregnancy. It's playing with my emotions big time. All this uncertainty is not good. Currently 36.4 weeks. Waiting for plan from OB.

    Hi @mardicharli,

Hopefully it is just for observation and you are able to go home soon. Is pre eclampsia the concern? Thoughts are with you.

Lol I love how I can answer all these period questions because I have such bloody wacky cycles.
It's fine Kay, let them know and they may ask you to get your hormones tested...but because you're on the pill you'll be fine. I had one cycle where I had 1 day of bleeding, then nothing (and I wasn't on the pill) the synarel will shut down your ovaries down too so nothing to panic about x

Mardi ..poor thing but you're in a good spot at that gestation if bub does come along now.
I had E at 35+2 with pre eclampsia and all was good, they are normally good with the sucking reflex by then so minimal special care time.
It is very stressful though, so lay back and try to relax. Xx

You can get a liquid iron called Spa tone that doesn't make you constipated you put it in oj or similar or just knock it down by itself.

Thanks, I think I'll give it a go as i've been too scared to double the dose for energy due to it creating constipation issues.
