    Default Best spare booster seat easy to install.

    Hi all, I'm looking to purchase an extra seat (booster) for when I have an extra child with me for Kinder runs etc with my four, nearly five year old daughter. I want something that is really easy to put in and take but is still, in terms of ratings, very safe. It also needs to fit between my daughter's booster seat and my bub's reverse facing car seat. What recommendations do you have?

    Do you want a seat with a proper 5pt harness or one that uses a normal seat belt?

    Either is fine as it's just a spare. I think 5 point harness is safer and would be my prefer but over 4 years of age children can use either can't they?

    Yes that's correct a lot of ppl recommend an Infasecure Rally (try Big W) as they're very affordable. I have an Infasecure Vario booster for my 5yo nephew which I like. 5pt harness seats are 'trickier' to install than a dedicated booster seat but a 5pt harness is more recommended for safety. I have a maxi cosi complete air but looking to get a maxi guard because they keep the kids in a harness until 8years old which is amazing
    Oh check out an Infasecure evolve too

    Actually the evolve is quite wide so might not fit with your other seats

    Bigw has a 'foldable' booster i think its infa brand for just under $50. We have one as a spare for if i pick up a friends child etc

    We have this one too. It is really compact and doesn't need a tether. We got it for using in the front (middle seat too small and lap-sash only) and for in relatives cars who don't have anchor points installed.
