Default Pregnant or Period - not sure which!

    Hi Ladies!

I'm sure this has be asked/discussed so many times in the past, but I am driving myself crazy!

This is my first cycle TTC. My period was due on Monday and AF still hasn't come. I had some brown spotting yesterday and very very light cramps which I assumed was AF coming. However after one wipe there are no more signs.

My cycle has been 29 days for the last 4 months and was 32 days the 3 months prior. I went off the pill last June and it was very irregular the first 3 or so months.

    Right now I'm on CD34. I'm anywhere from 16-19 dpo I think.

I've tested three times now (one yesterday morning) and all have been BFN. I do have some very slight cramps (I normally have very severe cramping) but no more blood. Aside from being super tired i have absolutely no pregnancy symptoms.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? No AF but keeping getting BFNs?

And how long was it until you got a BFP??

    Thanks!

Are you sure you ovulated when you think you did? I was TTC a couple of years ago for over a year and I had 28/29 day cycles every month, then suddenly one month I had a 37 day cycle. I knew I didn't ovulate until late though as I was temping and using opk's. I was not pregnant, AF came and my next cycle returned to normal.

If your AF is late and you are getting BFN, it's most likely late ovulation, you could still be pregnant - but you might only be 7 days past ovulation (for example) which would mean it's too early to get a positive test.

Good luck! I would wait for AF - but test every few days to see what happens.

Hmmm, I think it's very possible i o'd later. My body went under a fair bit of physical stress in the days leading up to o.

I haven't used opks or temp checking and really only look for EWCM. I did have some EWCM on CD 18 but really should've o'd roughly on CD16.

The other extremely odd thing that happened was on CD 21 I had the most intense localised pain down near my hip bone area I have ever felt in my life. It last a couple of mins and was gone. I did think that maybe I o'd then.

I think I need to just calm down and wait for AF! I hate to see what I'm like after a couple of cycles TTC!

Sounds like you have ov cd 21. And if you still had ewcm cd18, it would not have been cd16. Ov is last day of ewcm
