Default Yay for Target - no gender stereotypes!

Yay! Thank you target for finally not grouping toys in your catalogue under boys and girls toys!

Good to see. I only had a cursory glance through the catalogue, so I missed that - but it's definitely a positive step forwards. Now if only other toy sellers could learn from this and start to follow suit. Kids should have a chance to play with whatever toy they like, regardless of whether or not it's marketed towards their gender.

Yay but boo. Because I live in a town with only target country (bah humbug!) I only got a teeny tiny skinny minny catalogue. Send me the real deal- I travel to bigger towns and visit big target all the time!

(But I am glad to see how they have their catalogue arranged. About time. Big W take note.)

Yay for the grouping of toys.

Sad that there wasn't a super sized trampoline. Only a peddley little one.
    Our old one just died.

I thought it was only Big W that did the boys toy's/girls toy's thing.

I did notice though that the red Fisher Price car that I got for my son ages ago now comes in pink. Presumably because girls can't drive red cars

Big W, Target and K-Mart all did it.

I wonder if a staff member suggested it or if they got lots of complaints?
