Ballet flats or ankle boots in winter.

I would never wear thongs or sandals with them in summer as I think leggings are a warm/winter item and should always be worn with closed shoes.

OP I think if you have a thick fabric, it's no different to wearing skinny jeans IMO. I'd wear a shirt dress with them or singlet top with cardi or denim short or check shirt over the top for warmth.

Default A question for leggings wearers (as pants)

At the height of summer I tend to not wear my leggings because it's over forty where I live but when it's a bit warmer I wear sandals.

Well I went out today in mine with a hoodie on top. If I'm wearing a hoodie I wear canvas shoes, a summery dress I would wear thongs and a winter dress boots or ballet flats. I wear them all the time as pants and according to this thread I break all the 'rules' but I'm comfy so I don't really care!

I ended up buying a shirt style dress this afternoon in a denim-like fabric from Cotton On

Looking forward to wearing it with my leggings on Saturday night (I have a lady date with a friend).
@misskittyfantastico you are the queen of leggings!

I bought my first pair of blackmilk leggings the other week and wore them for the first time today. Omg they are so comfy and I understand the addiction. I went to buy another pair that I had my eye on but they were sold out (limited edition).

@misskittyfantastico you love your leggings. I think I just developed a girl crush on your legs.

I am wondering how high up people are wearing their leggings that they're giving themself camel toes?
Here's a friendly tip...when you put them on look in the mirror, if you see a camel toe adjust your leggings so you
don't have one anymore. The end.
    It's not that hard.
