Default A question for leggings wearers (as pants)

I walked behind someone at the shops today wearing very see through black leggings with a short jumper. I could see every bit of her pink flowery undies 😳🙈

Obviously not Black Milk leggings! I always wonder if people realise and don't care, or if they are unaware and someone should tell them....

I have some serious BM envy from this thread. DH keeps telling me to buy some but being my usual scroogey self I just can't bear to spend that much

I so regret letting the star wars ones go on ebay. I'm telling myself now I'm losing weight the mediums would have been too big lol

So, do you only wear long tops over jeans, too? But happily wear shorter tops with pants? By that definition I don't own any pants. I only own jeans and leggings. I think that trackpants are the worst pants for being completely unflattering and showing off your 'bits' but they are 'pants' by definition (I don't even own trackpants...I loathe them). I guess this is why the whole leggings aren't pants argument is lost on me...I think leggings are way more flattering than trackies or someone harry high pantsing it.

    I always wear long tops

ETA: I also agree that leggings are much nicer than trackies (if worn correctly- i.e. preferably not see through!)

Fair enough. Is it safe to assume you are also not a fan of short shorts? As in, not the ones that don't cover your undies, but the ones that are short, but still cover underwear and pockets!

I guess any clothing can be unflattering if worn in inappropriate sizes or if see through.

i dunno how tracksuit pants show your "bits" though? Only if too tight or hoisted up your **** crack?? Not the way I wear them. I only wear them at home or if exercising, and prefer the baggy fit. But I'm the same with jeans, like bootleg or looser styles - I won't wear skinny jeans. And although I'm a healthy size 10-12, I don't have nice skinny thighs, so won't wear anything that emphasizes them.

At the moment, I'm 37 weeks & nothing is bloody comfortable or flattering.
