I am in desperate need of a diet and lifestyle overhaul. However, I am really not in the right headspace for this right now (too much stress and chaos at the moment). So I thought I would make a couple of small changes to my life - one sacrifice and one positive change that I will implement for one month (as a starting point!).
My sacrifice is sugary treats - I have been eating chocolate, ice cream, etc. just about every day recently. That's all going to stop for the next month.
My positive change is to eat at least 2 serves of fruit and 3 serves of vegetables each day. I love summer fruit but eat basically no fruit in winter. My veg intake is really variable. I am aiming for consistency.
There are so many other changes I need to make, but I just don't think I will be able to commit for any length of time. Hopefully these minor changes will help me to feel a bit better and more in control, which in turn will help more changes down the track.
If anyone else is interested in joining me in making a couple of small changes to their life for the next month then I would love some company!! Hopefully we could keep each other motivated. If no-one else is interested then I plan to use this thread to keep myself accountable.
