    Default wool covers under pyjamas

for those who used the wool covers at night time, did you put pyjamas on your LO? I just ordered two Disana pull on covers but they are more the shorts type. it is winter now so DS will need to wear something above it. All i have is cotton footsies for him. He is 16 months and also in a sleeping bag, and part of the night co-sleeping. would we get leaks if we put pjs on him with the covers?

also if i use two terry flats for night time plus the lanolised wool cover, will i need any more boosting?

im a bit worried about going cloth for the night time but with bubs2 on the way in 2 months i cant afford to buy sposies any longer. i also got the little ripple mcns for day use but for the night i need something a bit more leak proof and i read wool might be the way to go

    any advice is welcome

Depnds how much they wet, but yes sometimes I would find that the cotton pj's had wicked through the wool cover.
    I knitted some longies instead.

As for 2 terries, no I would say that is not enough. IME you need something with more absorbancy without adding too much bulk, like bamboo.

I use a baby beehinds bamboo fitted with all the inserts + another bamboo fold up outsude the nappy between the cover and nappy. I fold it in half and lay it like a prefold. Works great.
