Hi ladies, I started on Saturday which was a sily day to start as I had a kids party! Stuck to my points on Sunday, but yesterday I had my wisdom tooth out so at lots of ice cream and custard. I have eaten half my weekly Pp so far, So I am back on track today and am hoping to keep to it.

I never realised how often I snack without thinking until I had to fast yesterday, the amount of times I almost had a couple of nuts, the kids leftovers, cake batter, smarties that we give to DD for toilet training. I'm hoping that tracking will make me be more aware of how much I'm consuming.

I am still breastfeeding my 9 month old and I get 38 pro points a day,

    Default Weight watchers

Ok since I'm on the old school system I'm allowed 20 points (not pro points) a day. Yesterday I finished on 17&1/2. I find that I need tasty filling food - if I eat salad it never satisfies me and I'm likely to want crap later in the day!!

Anyway my day yesterday went like this:

    Breakfast
    Avocado toast
    Tea

    Lunch
    WW frozen chicken risotto meal
    Tea

    Dinner
    Grilled salmon and steamed veg
    Tea

    Snack
    Banana

I made sure I had heaps of water.

Today so far this is how I've gone

    Breakfast
    Warm lemon water
    Poached eggs on avo toast
    ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1438654135.033678.jpg
    Tea

    Lunch
WW frozen cottage pie meal with a slice of bread and butter
    Coffee

    Dinner
    Mongolian lamb
(all prepped in the fridge - the recipe of from that symply too good to be true cookbook)

I've still got 4 points I can use on snacks which I'll prob have a banana & tea around 3pm.

I drink way too much caffeine but I'm also doing my best to include a lot of water. Cups of tea are like my go to comfort thing

I have done my 1/2 cardio walking and I still have my 60 squats to go.

    Breakfast is Oats and strawberries.

    Lunch I'm not sure yet!

Dinner ....left over pulled BBQ beef (I made yesterday) and salad. Everyone else will have burgers with the left over beef.

Coffee and green tea later today.

Maybe it's a control thing and liking to have control over different parts of my life and there's too many that are out of my control at the moment that is making me a little anxious.

Couldn't agree more Little Ted. That feeling of being in control of your food intake spills over to other areas of life. I too struggle with anxiety and find when I exercise regularly it not only releases the pent up anxiety but it helps cope with new stress also.

Hey 😀 my youngest is around 8 months but we are formula feeding- still, the extra extra work of prepping baby food, school child food, man food, and weight watcher food can get a bit much sometimes hey!

Like you I "normally " just Hoover up everything in sight when the kids are eating without thinking- trying to make a new kind of normal and track everything too, like you.

One small change at a time is better than no change at all!

They bounce... I can have them in something e.g cake or zucchini slice (sometimes). My make all types of eggs for the girls, but I can't eat eggs or seafood (similar reason, except it happened my entire life).
