I'm a twice a day shower person. In the morning to invigorate, in the evening to wash off the day and relax.

So yeah, I like to be clean myself, but I don't wash my car - like ever

Twice in the last 18 months I've gone four weeks without showering. Granted it was after getting a tube inserted into my stomach and on Drs orders but still...I win!

In summer I shower every day without fail, but in winter maybe every 2 days. I'm not very active though, I don't exercise and have a desk job. I always wear deodorant and clean clothes and use dry shampoo on my hair. I think some people just don't sweat or have an odour as much as others. My DH stinks sometimes even with 2 showers a day, but he sweats a lot.

I usually shower every day- it wakes me up in the morning! But every now and then I skip a day.In summer, I shower twice a day- I work with kids and they are yucky ETA: I wash my hair every other day.The reason I usually skip a shower, is when I don't manage to get in before H- he uses up all the hot water.

Well after some of the replies I'm certainly not going to confess outright, but lets just say my personal hygiene often leaves a lot to be desired. I think self esteem has a lot to do with it. I don't think much of myself, so I really just can't be bothered. I don't care how I look or feel, I don't have any friends anyway.

    I shower every day ...

I grew up on a farm in the country with major major water restrictions. There were 4 kids, and we had to share a bath ... showering was a luxury

so now I shower with great pleasure - but its not really because I dont feel clean. Its because I need that time

I've read plenty about natural bacteria and not showering everyday.

    I shower most days.

My little sister (15) refuses to shower. She smells soooo bad and her hair is horrid. I've tried all sorts or bribery and considered just locking her on the yard and hitting her with a hose. Hehe

I shower every day, without fail. All this talk I heard of not having time to shower with a newborn - pffft! I never went without one, not one day. Even if it was only 3 minutes while he had a catnap at 3pm, I still showered. I also wash my hair daily, as it gets oily and so so revolting if I don't.

Showering is my "me" time - to relax, think, and just chill out on my own without people bothering me (unless its DH telling me to get out, but to be fair, my shower lengths are not water restriction friendly :/). Since having DS I need my shower time even more than before!

I will shower every night before bed. If I want to wash my hair, I will have a morning shower as well. If I have gone out after my shower at night, even if it is just to the movies, I have to wash my feet before I get into the bed. I don't wash my car but it does get washed and cleaned regularly by others. I would do it myself if I had to. marie

When we got DD's car seat fitted 6 mths ago, I had to grab a half eaten sausage off the back seat before the lady saw it. The worst thing was I KNEW it was from a trip to Bunnings about 6 mths beforehand.
    Kids are grubs!

Shower and wash hair every second day in the winter because my bathroom is like this.
