I would definitely call myself a success story! I was diagnosed at 20 with endo, had a lap and hysteroscopy done to remove what they could. I then went on a 6 month trial of zoladex (implants), zoladex is a horrible horrible drug but it was also the best I felt, pain wise for a long time. My specialist recommended I have children right away otherwise I will never have children if I waited. Had another lap performed 3 years later and colonoscopy as the endo had spread. Went on provera for a few months then depo injection. 12 months later I was pregnant with my first daughter, the depo was only overdue by a few weeks. I now have 4 children

Good luck ! Whatever the circumstance Warren will give you honest answers and realistic outcomes. His laid back style may not suit everyone but he was perfect for us!

It was another fertility specialist - not one I would necessarily recommend. Warren was going to refer me to a specialised surgeon but we collectively decided to try one more time ( with an immune protocol to quieten down the endo) before proceeding with more surgery. It worked as we are now 31 weeks.

We have been ttc for 5 years and its very depressing, i am just wondering if there are any other endo "warriors" that have been through a few surgeries and have successfully fallen pregnant? I am wondering if i want to go through the surgery again as im worried if i am making it worse??
Hope there is others out there that can help!

Hi i had 2 failed ivf rounds with before changing to an endocronologist who diagnosed me with endometriosis. After he removed we fell oregnant via ivf first time. It didnt work out but removing the endodemetrios definately improved our chances. We got pregnant again second time and it was succeasful. I then fell pregnant naturally last year and gave brith in july. I cannot stress how important it is to do your homework when trying to find a specialist as I learnt the hard way the first two times we tried.

Hi all, for any who has had a endometriosis excised via a lap could you please tell me if he also treated you with Letrozole (Femara) or Lupron afterwards?

And if not, any idea why (given link between beta integrin 3, endo & implantation failure..)?

Hi ladies, a bit of an old thread but I wanted to share my success. I was only diagnosed with endo last year and within a month had it excised and was stage 4. Specialist couldn't believe how I managed to conceive naturally 5 years prior however I had been off contraception for about 6 years just wasn't in a hurry to fall pregnant. Specialist told us to try naturally and nothing so recommended straight to ivf which we weren't prepared for just yet. I decided to take alternative methods and saw a naturopath and also try pre-seed. I have just found out yesterday that I am finally pregnant!! 4 years on and it's finally happened so I don't know what it was exactly but between the supplements and pre seed something must have worked. I know how hard it is and I wish u all the best of luck in making ur baby dreams a reality!!!
