Sooooooo glad the whole pencil thin eyebrow phase has gone and thick natural shaped tidy eyebrows are "in". Frames a face so much better!
This is the type of thing I was referring to:

To me, it's too much for her face. Call me old- fashioned, I don't care. I think eyebrows from the 40s and 50s were perfect and that's what I aim for.

This woman ^^ has a whole buzzfeed article worshipping her eyebrows (where I got the pics from) that just leaves me scratching my head.

Ergo, I'm so old that "natural" eyebrows confuse me

I totally agree! Though my eyebrows are looking a bit like those in the photo at the moment! Filth!

hi everyone, im the resident grandma, and I haven't understood pretty much everything in this tread so far. I can use a computer about the same way as I drive my car. I know how to turn it on and off, and I can do simple things like chatting here. I don't have a smart phone, I have no idea how to down load or upload ?? I can remember www, and that it stood for world wide web,. but I had no idea that it was not used anymore?? and my eyebrows can just do what ever they please. I haven't interrupted their growth yet. marie.

I am regretfully joining this thread. We have an intern at work at the moment and she's only 4 years younger than me but there might as well be 40 years as she's so hip and cool. She was talking about a music festival today and I didn't know any of the people (what are they, they're not bands) who are playing (performing? They don't have instruments!). She mentioned that Chet Faker was there last year and I got excited to hear a name that I had heard of before, though I have no idea what any of Chet Fakers songs are.

All I know of Chet F is that he won JJJ hottest 100 this year. And since then, commercial radio has predictably starting killing his songs every few hours

I have no idea what torrents are. I've never downloaded anything except music through iTunes! My brother tried to teach me multiple times but I'd just get him to do it in the end!
I was having a conversation with a young guy in admin at work last week. He called something 'chat'. Going by the conversation I would say it means disgusting but who knows?! I just laugh and nod (I'm only 25 by the way )
I used to use the word 'chat' when I was a teenager! Many years ago. So it's an old word really.
