    I adore Isla - it's gorgeous. DH & I had it picked out years ago for a girl, but it's a touch too popular for me to want to use it these days.

    Demi is a nice name too, but name meanings are important to me, and I would hesitate to use a name that means 'half'.

    Just me though.

    Default Girls Name HELP!

    That was my concern too with Isla becoming so popular. At the moment though within our group of friends and family noone has used the name and I can't say I've really seen it around too much locally unlike A va.

    I didn't realise Demi meant half. I just did a quick google and also Demi bra came up! Oh my.
