@HappyBovine it's on the Quirky Cooking website. It's a thermy recipe but it would be easy to do it in a big pot.
This is from memory so you might want to check it, but:
One onion chopped and sautéed with 40g of olive oil (you could bacon at this stage if you wanted).
Then you just basically dump in all of these ingredients and let them cook:
3x400g tins cannellini beans (I used two and one of butter beans)
1x400g tin tomatoes
2 bay leaves
25g sugar (I used rapadura but brown would be fine)
25g molasses/golden syrup/rice syrup
1/4 tsp mixed spice
1 tsp salt
