Default Extraordinary Gift needed – Searching for Brisbane Egg Donor

    Hello There,

I am sure there are many people in our situation so I will provide a brief overview as to who we are and how we have come to be searching for that special person to help make our dreams come true of growing a family.

My husband (39) and I (34) live in North Brisbane QLD, and are fortunate to enjoy rewarding full time careers, loving families and supportive friends. We have been trying unsuccessfully to conceive for the last 4 years. Our infertility issues are due to the following:
I have a low ovarian reserve.
Both my fallopian tubes are blocked.
I suffered extensive endometriosis, 9 failed IVF cycles and a surprise pregnancy, sadly followed by a miscarriage.
We have been advised by our specialist that the chances of conceiving naturally are virtually non existent.

Friends have offered to be our egg donor but due to medical conditions and age they did not have capacity to do this selfless act for us.

Ideally we are seeking someone aged between 25 and 36 years old and has had children of their own.

Aside from any related expenditures incurred (which will be reimbursed), we offer our full support, friendship, and the guarantee of a loving, nurturing environment for the miracle you have helped us to create.

It has not been an easy journey for us and have almost reached the end of what we can bare…but we are still hopeful… for that compassionate person to make the ultimate sacrifice and give us the most extraordinary gift of all - The opportunity to give life and raise an amazing human being.

If you feel you can help us, we would love to hear from you!

    Thank you for reading!

    Hi there,

My name is Katie and I would be happy to help you. It's something I have been thinking about doing for a long time.

I have three beautiful healthy children (aged 8, 5 and 3) and am 34 years of age (35 in August this year).

I have no genetic health issues, no history of heart disease or cancer and am generally a pretty healthy and happy person.

Let me know where we go from here.

    Dear Katie,
I am so thrilled to hear from you. Simply by contacting me you have already made my day.
I am new to the forum world and haven't replied to enough posts in order to PM you.
If you would like to email me at news4sandy@hotmail.com so we can discuss 'where to go from here' I would really appreciate it.

Thank you Missynikki, but sadly it appears Katie is unable to help me as I haven't heard from her in almost 3 months. Im sure she has good reason for this and I am grateful to her for even considering paying it forward in such a big way. I'm currently in my 11th cycle using my own small amount of eggs.
I can see that you too have been through this journey and I wish you every success. Hang in there. Its a numbers game and im certain when the time is right we both will have what nature should have provided a long time ago. A family

Hi Rayne, have you tried eggdonationaustralia.com? I am just about to do donate eggs for the 8th time and have found all my recipients there. And as a bonus it's a great community. Good luck x

Hi Rayne, I am sorry to hear that things didn't work out for you both. You seem like a positive thinker and that will win through. I wish you the best of luck with your eggs, the chances might be small but they are not zero. Thank you so much for your wishes and i hope to see your success story on here too one day soon. I only go by one thing at the moment, don't give up on something you think about every single day! So like you i will be keeping on, would love to hear your updates and will definately pop in on you to say hi and give some support. Take care
    Nikki
