    I just checked out the link - I'm not sure how we aren't all dead. We'll eat leftovers for a week and have been known to eat boiled silverside for 10 days.

    I have a 2 day limit for leftovers. We freeze what we won't eat in that time or take it to extended family to share. I would have thrown the soup too OP.

    growing up my mum was really weird about leftovers. anything longer than 1 day and we were told not to touch it on fear of death/poisoning. my dad was forced to eat the leftovers that went > 2days lol.

    Haha....if I forget to freeze stuff my DH will often eat things left in the fridge longer than my 2 day rule!

    We have a two day rule, everything else is binned.

    I prob would have binned it. When im packing leftovers away if i don't think they'll be eaten within 48hrs i freeze them

    Same here. None of us have ever gotten sick. Plus I rarely reheat it as curries often taste fetter cold.
