    between the parents or close family/friends I guess it's fine. although I'd probably be a bit taken aback if someone I knew said that to me about their kid. in public I think it's quite mean. I cant stand Ryan Reynolds and this makes me dislike him even more.

    I read it and went 'ha!'

    Not hilarious and not mean I think. It feels like kind of self-deprecation but once removed. Like you could say it about your own baby, but it would be insulting if someone else said it?

    Funny. Some people just don't get sarcasm or basic humour. My mum is one of them and is always getting hurt by things like this. It's a tad frustrating because my family has to intentionally avoid jokes to cushion things for her. She finds it frustrating because she just doesn't understand where people are coming from.
