Hi everyone, I just thought I'd make a comment for you and whoever else is watching this thread. I'm an RN and work for a health advice service. We get a lot of calls about immunisation reactions. Just wanted to let you know that diarrhoea is not a classicly documented side effect of immunisations. It may be that your baby has a virus and it is a coincidence that the diarrhoea occurred after the needles. Reactions to most immunisations include slight fever (37.5 - 38.2 C), soreness and redness at injection site sometimes with slight swelling, drowsiness and generally being grizzly. These symptoms can come anytime from the day of injection to a week after and settle down within a couple of days. All this info can be found in immunisation handbooks. If there is anything like diarrhoea (especially green!) you should take the baby to the GP!
