    Default Teachers and PPL questions...

When filling out the centrelink application for PPL - it is asking me for my employers abn - is this my school abn or the Department of Education abn?

Is it my school who will pay the PPL? or is it the department of education?

    Thanks!

Thanks harvs! One other quick question - they then ask for the contact person - do I need to call the department and ask for their details? I have no idea who this would be

It's different because last time they paid me directly instead of my employer paying..

    Hmm I'm trying to remember.

I think I put my payroll officer's name that is on my pay slip?

It's hard in education because our Employer and our 'employer' are so far removed from each other!

When I filled mine out (vic, 2013) I put the DEET ABN and the contact person was our school bursa. So, local payroll person.

It won't hurt Centrelink to do a bit of chasing, even if you get it wrong

My school supplies a diary with all the important school dates. It also includes contacts with ABN and local payroll persons name as well. The payroll persons name is also on my payslip.
